Global Bioenergies is granted $1.1 million to accelerate the development of isobutene bioproduction


EVRY, 2nd February 2010 - Global Bioenergies, located on the Genopole campus at Evry (France), has received €760,000 ($1.1m) in funding from the French innovation agency OSEO to accelerate the development of its process for converting renewable resources into isobutene, a gas that can be transformed into liquid fuels and diverse polymers. This funding will allow the company to take on new staff, move to larger facilities and take a step towards the industrialization of this bioprocess. Next
